Brow Lift

One of the earliest areas on our face that shows aging is the forehead and brow. Wrinkles in this area can appear in patients who are in their twenties. A drooping brow can make the upper eyelids appear heavier and can give the appearance of sadness or scowling. A forehead/browlift smoothes out wrinkles and elevates the brow to a more youthful position giving you a younger, friendlier face. The incision for a forehead/browlift is hidden within your hairline.

Forehead/browlift is performed with intravenous anesthesia. Recovery time is usually 7-10 days. Swelling and bruising of the forehead and eyelids may occur during this time.

When the brow is lifted, the droopiness of the eyelids is also corrected.

After the surgery patients may experience temporary numbness and tingling of the forehead and scalp. Activity after forehead/browlift should be limited to light activity with no heavy lifting for 2 weeks. Forehead/browlift can be done in combination with other facial cosmetic procedures.
